Jacob Delahoussaye was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana. After graduating from Lafayette High School, he attended the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts summa cum laude in Political Science and received the Outstanding Scholar Award.
Mr. Delahoussaye obtained his Juris Doctor and Diploma of Comparative Law from LSU's Paul M. Hebert Law Center in 2022. At LSU, he was a member of the Admiralty Moot Court team and competed in the national Judge John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court Competition. He was also on the Board of Advocates and served as a Student Bar Association Peer Mentor for first-year students.
Mr. Delahoussaye joined Anderson Blanda & Saltzman in 2022 and was admitted to the Louisiana State Bar the same year. At Anderson Blanda & Saltzman, Mr. Delahoussaye practices all types of personal injury litigation, with emphasis on automobile, trucking, premises liability, maritime and offshore accidents, and product liability.
Mr. Delahoussaye remains involved in LSU Law advocacy programs, for which he volunteers as a judge for internal advocacy competitions. In his free time he enjoys golf, hunting, and fishing.
